The Syrian regime forces are continuing their offensive into Quneitra to retake rebel-held areas in that southern province. Many Syrians are fleeing the southwestern part of Syria towards the Israeli Golan Heights. According to UNHCR, there are 6.5 million people, including 2.8 million children, displaced within Syria, the biggest internally displaced population in the World. Well over 1.2 million people have been displaced so far this year, many for the second or third time.The video call will include Syrians form Al Briqa refugee camp. They will describe their situation, the problems they face in the camps, and their plans for the future. Journalists will be able to take photos and record the event. |
