Tel Aviv Annual Gay Pride Parade

June 13, 2014PAST EVENT

Tel Aviv has joined an elite group of a few other European cities as a leading attractive destination for LGBT tourists.  Out Magazine named Tel Aviv “the gay capital of the Middle East” and the city was selected as one of the 10 best gay travel destination of 2011 at the Berlin Int’l Tourism Convention.

The Tel Aviv’s annual Pride Parade is on Friday June 13 this year.  Just prior to the event, join us to explore the LGBT community of Tel Aviv and Israel including meetings with community leaders and NGO directors, and the director of Havruta, perhaps one of the most unusual NGO’s, focused on the religiously observant gay community. Ample time will be left for individual interviews and to attend the parade itself, which starts at 12pm.

* The TA municipality is holding a press conference for foreign journalists at 10am; this event augments and will immediately follow the municipality’s, both at the location in Gan Meir, Tel-Aviv.

MediaCentral staff will be available for assistance, contacts, information etc. throughout the day.
