Israel used to be Hezbollah’s sole enemy but now the Iranian-backed terror group is also involved in the fighting against Sunni Jihadist groups in Syria, Iraq and Lebanon. Nevertheless Israel military experts say the menace from Hezbollah is growing, given their improved cross-border fighting capabilities alongside a massive arsenal of rockets and missiles understood to be hidden throughout southern Lebanon.
Senior IDF commanders have also admitted that Hezbollah may have dug tunnels from Lebanon, similar to the Hamas tunnels from Gaza, increasing the already great security threat of Hezbollah for Israel.
