On Tuesday night, the coronavirus cabinet approved a plan to gradually reopen the education system starting today, as the daily COVID-19 infection rate dropped significantly for the first time in weeks.
Prof. Hagai Levine will discuss the decision, its possible implications, what comes next, as well as the current state of Israel’s world-leading vaccination drive.
Hagai Levine is Professor of Epidemiology at the Hebrew University and a public health physician at Hadassah Medical Center. Up until recently, Prof. Levine served as Chairman of the Israeli Association of Public Health Physicians, and as a member of the national coronavirus czar’s advisory team on the pandemic.
