Earlier this week, Israel launched “Operation Northern Shield” to destroy Hezbollah tunnels under its northern border.
Dr. Daphne Richemond Barak and Dr. Joel Roskin will speak about tunnel warfare, its history and the potential threat up north with the technology used to discover and destroy them.
Dr. Daphne Richemond Barak is the author of “Underground Warfare”. She is an assistant professor at the Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy and head of the International Law Desk at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya (Israel).
Dr. Joel Roskin is a geologist, geomorphologist, military terrain analyst and a research Associate at the Leon Recanati Institute for Maritime Studies, University of Haifa.
