Strategic Analysis with Amos Yadlin

October 28, 2023PAST EVENT

The “Iron Swords” war broke out in the early morning hours of October 7—fifty years and one day from the start of the 1973 Yom Kippur War. The number of Jews killed was the most on one day since the Holocaust and Israelis have witnessed atrocities that they never thought would be repeated. MediaCentral was the first to help foreign journalists in the country get updated on what exactly was going on with a Zoom conference just hours after the war erupted. We have continued to follow the resulting military operations and have assisted the more than one thousand reporters who have been sent to the region to cover the events.

Oct. 28: Amos Yadlin

Today marks three weeks to the catastrophic attack executed by Hamas terrorists on October 7.
Last night, following much speculation, the Israeli forces’ ground raid into Gaza was expanded.
Maj. Gen. (ret.) Amos Yadlin discussed the ground maneuver and its roll in achieving the objectives of the war, the possible outcomes, the efforts to release the hostages, and the situation on the northern front.
Maj. Gen. (ret.) Yadlin is the former head of Israel’s Defense Intelligence, former Deputy Commander of Israel’s Air Force, Senior Fellow at the Kennedy School’s Belfer Center, Harvard University, and former Executive Director of the INSS. He is the founder and president of Mind Israel.
