According to reports, Iran began pulling some of its forces out of Syria. Maj. Gen. (ret.) Amos Yadlin will discuss the reports and explain what might be going on. He will also talk about the implications this reported move might have on Israel and the region.
Amos Yadlin was named Executive Director of Tel Aviv University’s Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) in November 2011, after more than 40 years of service in the Israel Defense Forces. Maj. Gen. (ret.) Yadlin previously served as the IDF’s chief of Military Intelligence. Prior to that, he served as the IDF attaché to the United States. In February 2002, he earned the rank of major general and was named commander of the IDF Military Colleges and the National Defense College. |
