Fatah and Hamas seem to be at a deadlock in terms of reaching Intra-Palestinian reconciliation. On Monday the Palestinian Authority slammed Hamas for advancing indirect talks with Israel about Gaza. It warned that Hamas is not authorized to sign any deal with Israel and that any agreement between Israel and Hamas would lead to the total separation between the West Bank and Gaza.
Ashraf Al-Ajrami will discuss the Hamas-Fatah crisis and efforts by Egypt and the UN to achieve a long term truce between Hamas and Israel.
Ashraf Al-Ajrami was Minister of Prisoners Affairs for the Palestinian Authority between 2007 and 2009. He was also a former Director of Israeli Affairs at the Palestinian Authority Information Ministry.
