Join us for the international foreign press’ first look in cooperation with COGAT at the newly renovated Qalandiya Checkpoint.
The Qalandiya Checkpoint’s $11 million renovation was finally completed on February 21, 2019. It is the main crossing between northern Judea and Samaria/West Bank and Jerusalem. The extensive renovation was carried out in order to enhance the commute of thousands of Palestinians every day, mostly with the help of new and improved technology.
The field tour will include:
- Briefing with Major Elisha Hanukayev, Head of Crossing Points and Seem Zone Branch in COGAT
- Briefing with Major Moti Stolovich, Head of International Organizations Department in COGAT
- Tour of the newly renovated Qalandiya Checkpoint
- Sandwiches and refreshments will be provided.
