The Arab political parties announced that they are running together in a joint list after briefly separating for the last election.
Arab voting in Israeli elections has always been a controversial issue, at times, for the mere act. Moreover, with an unprecedented low in the voting turnout of Arab citizens (49.2% voting rate on Election Day), the April elections showed that many are disappointed with their representatives.
