Lebanon-Israel Border and A Visit with Syrians Wounded at Nahariya Hospital

Hezbollah threatens to retaliate to the alleged air strike by Israel on one of its bases on the Lebanon-Syrian border. The IDF spokesman reported that Israeli soldiers opened fire on two suspected terrorists identified with Hezbollah as they were trying to plant an explosive device on the border with Syria. Israel has accused Hezbollah of setting up positions on the other side of the boundary fence.

The tour focuses on the escalating tensions along Israel’s northern borders. In addition, there will be a briefing with Nahariya Hospital administration, a tour of the hospital and a chance to interview and speak with Syrian casualties.

The tour included:

Strategic and security briefing with IDF Maj. Gen. (res.) Eyal Ben Reuven, (res) deputy commander of the Northern Command at Mount Adir.

Visit to Nahariya Hospital and meeting with wounded Syrians.

Meeting with Arab and Jewish residents living along the border with Lebanon.

Lunch.
